A Whimsical Summer Wedding at Rock Creek Gardens

Sarah and Logan wanted to create a fun, whimsical event that showcased their love of music, bright colors, and florals tied all together with some retro details. From the mirror ball decor to the record seating chart, and the dueling pianos for the reception, they wanted the wedding to be fun, colorful, and unique. Sarah loves yellow and wanted her bridesmaids to wear muted yellow gowns from Revelry. This color also played into a subtle theme of the University of Washington Huskies (yellow and purple) as Sarah played as a goalkeeper for UW in college. The couple's golden retriever, Doug, was present at the wedding and "hosted" cocktail hour. Doug's cute face was displayed on their bar menu signage and their cocktail napkins. The amazing Stephanie Tara Designs hand painted the design and created adorable mirror ball coasters that were on at each place setting as favors for each guest.
