The location in the lush East Valley desert gave the couple the natural, raw, desert that the couple wanted to include in their day. The property allowed the flexibility to be incredibly creative with the decor and build the theme around the desert. The church was also the bride's family church property, so it felt really natural to host everything there without a conventional venues timelines/restrictions. A special moment for the couple was having the brides father, the priest, marry them. It just felt like a big, loving, family event. Capturing all the moving parts of the ceremony was incredibly important to the couple and such a beautiful experience. They were all standing in the light of stained glass windows which really highlighted and lit these moments in such a unique way. The color palette reflected the desert tones in the bridesmaid dress down to the napkins on the table. Having the backdrop of the church for the reception was just stunning and gave the guests plenty of space to mingle and enjoy this special day.
