Ellie and Matthew's wedding was their dream wedding. Her aisle is the longest aisle in the Chicagoland area, so it was a beautiful ceremony where everyone got to shine. Her band (The Steve Edwards Orchestra) played a song from the Lizzie McGuire Movie as they walked down the aisle. There was no sheet music for this, and they recomposed it using perfect pitch.
Her colors were inspired by florals. Ellie's bridal bouquet was just peonies that were both open and closed, which added texture. Her bridesmaids' bouquets were made up of different florals but also had some peonies, which made for a cohesive yet different look.
Ellie wanted everything to look stunning yet timeless. Her wedding dress was a simple ball gown that she added a crystal belt to. She also wore a blusher and short veil to add volume and some fun.
Steven Papageorge Salon did all of the girls' hair. Funny thing is, this is where Ellie met Matthew-- he was a client while she was working!
