Brand Partnerships

Role Description: 
We’re looking for a Director of Brand Partnerships to launch and lead a small and mighty integrated sales arm at Loverly.
This critical role will be responsible for creating brand partnerships across Loverly content, including social, digital, editorial and experiential. You will be responsible for ideating, selling, negotiating and closing fully integrated programs that will live across social, mobile, digital and video platforms. 
This role is currently remote with future potential to work from our New York office, reporting into our Founder and Executive Vice President, and collaborating closely with Revenue Ad Ops, Marketing, and Editorial. 
  • Develop go-to-market brand partnerships for Loverly
  • Strategize directly with senior leadership on identifying brand integration opportunities
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing to create robust content programs 
  • Proactively prospect, pitch, and close brand partnerships across all relevant industries and categories 
  • Build and lead an integrated team including sales and account management (as needed/desired) 
  • Meet annual revenue targets  
  • Provide accurate and timely business reporting including quarterly & annual revenue estimates as well as market analysis/key industry market share 
What We’re Looking For: 
  • 3+ years of experience in integrated marketing sales (beneficial: editorial and event sponsorship experience, social & digital experience, collaboration with media agency experience) 
  • Experience and success with a defined annual revenue quota 
  • Proven track record of pipeline development and management, communicating to leadership as well as collaborating with cross-departments
  • Ability to drive new business revenues 
  • Professional presence, presentation, and storytelling 
  • Independent self-starter who comes with strong rolodex at key agencies and clients and can get up and running quickly
  • Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong portfolio of previous marketing integrations with world class brands — ideally, both consumer and enterprise
  • Work experience in a creative fast-paced industry or startup environment
  • High degree of integrity, optimism, passion for mission, and business ethics
